More than five channels*

If you currently have an analogue television you will notice that you only receive ABC, SBS, Seven, Nine and Ten and not the new digital channels these networks now offer. If you own a newer TV with a built in digital tuner you will be able to see channels like 7HD, ABC2, ONE and SBS World News.

But you don't have to buy a new TV to see these channels. The TiVo media device comes with this capability inside it so you will be able to see all these new free to air channels no matter what model TV you have. This is because the TiVo media device has built in digital tuners (or in other words, incorporates a digital set top box).

Seven, Nine and Ten all have a High Definition channel and Ten has recently announced ONE, a new multi-channel dedicated to 24/7 sport content. Almost every broadcaster intends to launch further free-to-air digital channels in 2009, so watch this space!

The diagram on the right shows the free-to-air digital channels available through your TiVo media device (plugged into your rooftop aerial). The channels you can view depend on whether you live in a metropolitan or regional area.
