TiVo® DVRs have two tuners, so they can record two different free-to-air digital TV shows at the same time. You can even play back a third show that you've already saved while two new shows are recording. As well as recording two shows at once, you can record a whole season's worth with just the touch of a button. All you do is find the show you want by searching or browsing the electronic program guide, and then specify whether you want to record all episodes or just the new ones.

It's the beginning of a new season and you want to record every single episode of Desperate Housewives. Select a Season Pass® recording, and because the TiVo® service uses an electronic program guide, every single episode for the entire season will automatically be recorded for you – even if the show is moved to a different time or day.
The Hours
Not only can you find and record your favourite free-to-air digital television programs quickly and easily, but because all your shows are recorded digitally, you no longer have to buy tapes or DVDs to keep them. Everything is stored electronically with up to 60 hours (the equivalent of 40 VHS tapes) or 30 hours of High Definition shows to watch at a time. Storage capacity is subject to the broadcaster's recording formats.
